Brighter Futures | Brand Identity and Web Design
Brighter Futures was founded by two experienced clinicians with a clear intent: to build a practice where ethical care and genuine empathy come first. Both practitioners bring personal experience as parents of neurodivergent and looked-after children, adding a layer of understanding that goes beyond clinical training alone.
A full-scope branding and web project for a specialist psychology practice in Greater Manchester and Yorkshire, built from the ground up — identity, website, copy, and collateral.
Visual Identity
The brief called for a brand that felt calm and approachable without sacrificing professionalism — one that could speak equally to a vulnerable individual taking a first step, and to the adoption agencies and institutions that refer clients and commission assessments.
Early benchmarking revealed a sector prone to either clinical sterility or visual overload. The identity was designed as a deliberate alternative: simple, grounded and elegant, while remaining accessible human. A palette of sage greens and warm neutrals, a custom logo and monogram, and a typography pairing chosen for legibility and clarity.
Web Design
Designed and built on Squarespace, with an information architecture built around reducing friction for people who may find reaching out difficult. Each page is structured around the questions a visitor is likely to be asking at that stage; what services are offered, what to expect, how to get in touch, with the free initial consultation surfaced consistently throughout.
Squarespace was chosen for its integrated booking and payment functionality and its ease of use, giving the practitioners full control over their own content without ongoing technical support.
Brand assets
As an extension of the project, a suite of brand assets was developed to explore how the identity could live beyond the website. Business cards designs and a series of social media templates for Instagram and Facebook explores the brand in a content setting, covering practitioner introductions, service information, and practice values.
